T/Sgt. Mike Buczkowski - SGT. BUC

Mike Buczkowski was born in South Bend, Indiana to Mike Sr. and Pauline Buczkowski,  He was among a sibling group that included six other brothers and one sister.  He attended the local Catholic Church and School and lived an average life doing what boys do in the 1930's.

But that all changed in 1940 when Mike lied about his age and joined the US Army after completing the 10th grade.  His story is told in one of the exhibits in the SGT. BUC H376 MINI EXPO and that of others who served to fight for freedom.

It all started with a M5 tool box and a few items in 1982 when an American Hero passed into eternity.  The events that happened from 1940 to that time is a story in it's own.  The Greatest Generation as they have been called is the theme to Sgt. Buc H376 WWII Mini Expo.  We want to preserve history and the stories they have to share while educating today's generation and beyond.  Come share with me the artifacts and the people they belonged to.  Allow me to be your guide, my name is Bruce Buczkowski-Solliday and I am the son of Mike Buczkowski, Jr.
